The harmonic pace is what makes this quite challenging, along with the sheer amount of different chord shapes that you need to know. A single strum each time a chord change occurs is quite sufficient for the verse; the prechorus needs a little more vigour and the chorus should probably be something along the lines of 1 (down) 2 (down) & (up), swung and repeated. Aq is easily substituted for Gsus4 if it's too confusing.
